Sarah Martins, a popular Nollywood actress, has explained why she chose to end her first marriage despite the fact that she had only been married to her husband for a few years. Sarah revealed in a post on her official Instagram account yesterday that she married her ex-husband when she was 19 years old and still a virgin.
She claimed she did everything she could to maintain herself presentable for her prospective spouse, but when she met him, he betrayed her.
According to her, she chose to leave him after discovering that he was cheating on her with a woman who was 25 years her senior at the time.
She went on to say that instead of fighting back, she left the marriage quietly. Despite her horrible marriage experience, the actress stated that if she finds someone in the future, she will give love another opportunity.
“My ex cheated on me with someone 25 years older than me and because I refused to share what I thought was mine, I walked away peacefully. I moved on in peace without gathering pity parties despite being married at 19 years as a virgin.” The actress wrote.
