Speed Darlington, a Nigerian songwriter and rapper, believes he should be compensated for his notoriety.
A video posted to Instagram by Nedu Wazobia shows the rapper during an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast.
“I really think I should be paid for being a celebrity,” he stated. Nedu confronted him immediately after he made the statement, questioning why he should be paid for being a star. They questioned why he would want to be compensated for being adored by fans.

Darlington says nobody can strep him off his opinion. He said people gathering to snap pictures with him and loving what he does is more reasons why he should be paid.
