Kayode Egbetokun, the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), has finally broken his silence, hours after Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announced his appointment as the next commander of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
Shortly after Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, decorated the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, he said,
“the thing is that I cannot describe how I feel after being decorated as the Inspector General of Police.”
Speaking further, the Inspector General of Police said, “I can simply say that I am presently feeling like a lion who is ready and willing to devour all the internal enemies of the federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Lastly, the Inspector General of Police said, “I can also say that I am feeling like a tiger who is very ready to chase away those who are criminals in Nigeria.”
