Olamide hails Rema as Calm Down becomes Most Streamed Song in Africa

Popular Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide has hailed Mavin Records signee, Rema as latter’s hit single, Calm Down becomes Most Streamed Song in Africa.

On June 13, 2023, the song “Calm Down” has 800 million streams.


The Plug’s founder, Bizzle Osikoya, tweeted the update on Wednesday with the caption “Amazing,” and Olamide retweeted it with the remark “Greatness.”


The highest-charting Nigerian song in the chart’s history, Rema’s “Calm Down” climbed two spots to reach Number 3 this week on the US Billboard Hot 100.
