Pearl Thusi, a South African actress, has been trending on Twitter all week. This comes after images of her attire choice for Murdah Bongz’s birthday party went viral.
Pearl can be seen in the photos wearing a tiny skirt, a black jacket, and a sheer top that entirely exposed her breasts.
Social media users blasted her for being an attention seeking after seeing the photo. However, the celebrity swiftly ordered her “haters” to leave her alone, adding that the nipple exhibition was inspired by American artist Janelle Monae.
PEARL THUSI GOES VIRAL AFTER SHOWING OFF NIPPLES AT MURDAH BONGZ’S PARTY
Most social media users couldn’t believe their eyes after a photo of Pearl Thusi wearing a completely sheer top with no bra on was shared online.
The Queen Sono actress reportedly wore the outfit to Murdah Bongz’s birthday celebration that took place last week.
Those who saw the post wasted no time slamming the mom-of-two for dressing inappropriately and being “hungry for attention”.
‘Where’s your sense of pride,” wrote one person while another added: “Honestly, I wasn’t even going to say anything, about how this isn’t empowering but embarrassing. It’s bad enough when young women expose their bodies, but for a woman pushing 40, who should be setting a good example for her million young female followers”.
THE HOT CLAP BACK
Taking note of the criticism, Pearl beckoned those who had a problem with the photos to either unfollow or block her.
She also added that the photos were a tribute to US songstress Janelle Monae.
“Don’t slide if you like reporting people. Unfollow me or block me so we can both mind our business. 🫶🏽
“This look was crafted to impress ONLY @janellemonae for her latest project which I’m obsessed with. I literally floated to the party – ask @thabsie_sa . Just missin’ some lipstick on my neck.”
She also added:
“Also – y’all need to stop acting like y’all ain’t see my ladies in my movies already. Nothing new happening here. I even did the Marie Claire naked what twice.”
