After playing for the 200th times for Portugal in international competition, Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded a Guinness World Record.
During Portugal’s Euro 2024 qualifying match against Iceland, Ronaldo made his 200th appearance for the national team.
With his performance on Tuesday, the 38-year-old became the player with the most caps in international football.
The Guinness Book of Records awarded him a certificate for his accomplishment.
It is just another record to add to Ronaldo’s vast list of international football achievements.
With 122 goals in 200 games to date, the Al Nassr forward holds the record for most goals scored in international football.
At the age of 18, Ronaldo made his Selecao debut in 2003.
