Omoyele Sowore, the AAC’s presidential candidate, is challenging other candidates of the 2023 general election by being honest about how he used campaign contributions.
Sowore published images with a thorough description of how he spent the money on his verified Twitter feed.
Sowore said that he used a total of 38.3 million naira in donations that he had received.
Some of the expenses made by Sowore includes;
5.030 million naira for campaign action and party activities
1.2 million naira for subscription
3.3 million naira for printing
2.5 million naira for media logistics
22.6 million naira for conveyance
2.2 million naira for security and other volunteers
1.6 million naira for maintenance
20 thousand naira for consumables
1.3 million naira for welfare
80,304 naira for bank charges
The AAC candidate revealed that the campaign cost them a total of 40.1 million naira of which 1.8 million are from personal funding.
He also dared other candidates to make a detailed list of how they spent the money donated to them during campaigns.
