Thuli Phongolo hints at returning to her lover, DJ Maphorisa. The two made their romance public in May after the actress filed an assault case against the Amapiano star.
Maphorisa was alleged to have spent a night in jail before being released the next day as Thuli dropped the complaint.
Later, the two issued a joint statement asking the public to respect their privacy as they handled the situation discreetly.
“The matter has received mixed public attention, causing both parties involved a great deal of emotional stress.” On this premise, the parties have decided to settle this dispute discreetly through their accommodating management and legal teams.
Consequently, Phongolo has since withdrawn the charges laid against Sekowe at the SAPS, Sandton Station,” part of the statement read.
Fast forward to June, a video of Thuli P rocking a Burberry shirt similar to Phori’s shirt has surfaced on social media.
Viewers have hastily concluded that the shirt rocked by the actress belongs to Phori, hence they are back as lovers.
