Olubankole Wellington, better known by his stage as Banky W,recalls how he and his wife, Etomi Adesua, went through a trying time in their marriage to the point where they lost their twins.
He revealed this in a recent interview with Chudeity,
According to Banky W, the year 2019 was challenging for him because he and his wife were attempting to conceive a child while also running for politics.
They began receiving IVF treatments, according to Banky W, towards the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019. He continued by saying that his wife had a difficult time with her second IVF procedure and experienced a great deal of pain, and that despite campaigning for office at the time, all he could do was spend time with her.
He said;
“Whether it’s the community of people that are close to you or family, it feels like you’re being emptied on a daily basis. You’re giving everything you have and it’s not enough and then we lost twins, because we were pregnant with twins and we lost them. Then we tried again, our relationship was strained. It was a tough time”.
