According to Metro UK, Liverpool player Jordan Henderson has accepted an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq.
Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, allegedly discussed the Al Ettifaq offer with Henderson on Thursday and given him the go-ahead to leave Anfield.
Al Ettifaq and Liverpool are currently negotiating a transfer fee for Henderson.
Steven Gerrard, a former manager of Aston Villa, currently oversees Al Ettifaq.
Al Ettifaq is reportedly giving Henderson a contract said to be worth a staggering £700,000 per week.
The offer will approximately treble the England international’s current Liverpool wage, which is slightly under £200,000 per week.
Henderson has two years left to run on his contract with Liverpool and Klopp’s side will expect a fee for their captain, thought to be in the region of £10million.
