Popular Afrobeats Superstar Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, drew criticism and reactions when she spoke about her performance at Afro Nation. She claimed that sound problems have plagued many of her concerts and that, as a perfectionist, this is exhausting.
Ayra Starr said she puts a lot of effort into every small thing she does and she dislikes that it doesn’t reflect the genuine objectives of her work, but she said going forward, she’ll give it her all.
This was in response to Ayra Starr’s performance at the Afro Nation concert in Portugal, which drew criticism and comments from the audience due to a sound issue that prevented Ayra Starr from giving a flawless performance.
She wrote;
Sound has been messing up with a lot of my performances and as a perfectionist this is so draining, I put in a lot of effort into every little things I do ! I hate the fact that it’s not conveying the true intentions of my work , anyways from now on I’m giving it my all !
