According to recent rumors, the prominent Ghanaian hip pop artist Black Sherif was detained upon arrival.
GHHyper, a renowned Instagram vlogger in Ghana, has posted on his page with the news that Black Sherif has been arrested.
The “Second Sermon” singer was reportedly pulled up by the CID at Kotoka International Airport, as claimed by the YouTuber.
Fans and loved ones have reacted in different ways to the news of his detention, which has received widespread attention. Some of Black Sherif’s supporters have speculated that the recent arrest was staged to draw attention to his new song and other endeavors.
The reason for his arrest, however, remains unknown.
