The former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has denied going into exile.
Rumours that Buhari had left the country and was now residing overseas were denied by Buhari.
Speaking through his former media aide Garba Shehu, Buhari insisted that the accusation was false because he had already gone back to his home in Daura, Katsina.
Shehu argued that it was inaccurate to claim that Muhammadu Buhari, the former president, had “fled” and was in “exile” when in reality, he was visiting family in Daura, Katsina State.
“Every platform has tools to verify any information and we don’t expect anything less,” he said.
