Cesar Azpilicueta cries for six minutes in emotional Chelsea farewell video

Chelsea legend Cesar Azpilicueta cried his way through an emotional farewell video after it was confirmed he is leaving the club.

The 33-year-old has called time on his 11-year career with the Blues after winning every trophy available.

Azpilicueta had one year left on his contract, but will now leave on a free transfer after the remaining 12 months were written off as a goodwill gesture.

The Spaniard is expected to head back to his homeland and join LaLiga giants Atletico Madrid after turning down a move to Inter Milan.

He leaves as one of the most decorated players in Chelsea history.

He joined the club from Ligue 1 side Marseille in 2012, and went on to make 508 appearances over the past 11 campaigns.

He went onto win the, two Premier League crowns and the Champions League.

Azpilicueta played under nine different permanent managers during his time with the Blues.

His best came under Antonio Conte, which saw Chelsea secure the 2016-17 Premier League title.

His exit means he becomes the eighth player to leave the west London side, following the Mason Mount of the exit door, who joined Manchester United.

The Spaniard will return to LaLiga since leaving the youth ranks of Osasuna in 2010.
