Danielle Jonas Says She Often Feels ‘Less Than’ Sisters-In-Law Priyanka Chopra & Sophie Turner

During one of the latest episodes of the LadyGang podcast, Danielle Jonas revealed that she feels out of place among her sisters-in-law, Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner, who are themselves actresses.

Danielle mentioned, “The two boys (Joe and Nick Jonas) married somebody who are actresses, they’re out there, everyone knows them. And I feel like I’m Danielle, and it’s hard.” Soon, her husband, Kevin Jonas, who was also part of the interview, reassured his wife that he too often feels that way with his celebrity siblings.

In Kevin’s words: “I feel the same way with Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, all this stuff. It’s like everyone has to find their place … No matter the situation, right?”

For the unversed, besides being Kevin’s loving wife, Danielle is an American reality television personality, actress, and the founder of her jewellery company, Danielle Jonas Co.

However, Danielle still explained that she wants something to add to her name other than her husband’s name.

And despite Kevin’s assurance, she emphasised the importance of having a separate identity or an endeavour of her own.
Danielle added: “It’s also that I’m out there celebrity-wise because I’ve married you. And that’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, I wanna have something else to my name too.’ So that it feels … I don’t know, more than or like the other girls. Cause then when I’m with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It’s weird.”

Kevin, who is the eldest of the Jonas Brothers married Danielle in 2009, and together they are blessed with two daughters, Alena and Valentina. On the other hand, Joe married Sophie in 2019, and are parents to two daughters, Willa and another one.

And the last of the three brothers, Nick tied the knot with Priyanka in 2018, and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie in January 2022.

In the same conversation, musician and actor, Kevin also mentioned how just like his wife, Danielle, he is being compared to his other siblings.

He shared: “You’ll always be compared to the people around you the most.”

For the unversed, Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were also part of a few of the Jonas Brothers’ music videos, including Sucker and What A Man Gotta Do.

And despite Danielle’s comments, they are often spotted together, sharing a beautiful bond together.

Moreover, in 2019, in a conversation with the Elle UK, Priyanka revealed how she loves and thinks Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner as her own sisters.

In Priyanka’s words: “I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy.”
