Tinubu’s govt doesn’t exist, it is illegitimate – Adebanjo

Ayo Adebanjo, the current leader of the Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu’s administration essentially “does not exist.”

Adebanjo expressed his personal opinions during a recent interview on Arise Television.

Additionally, he made the argument that Tinubu’s victory was tainted and plagued by errors, making his presidency an unauthorised and illegitimate one.

Adebanjo further mentioned during the interview that Tinubu’s presidency was inconclusive because the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s ongoing processes were still being looked into, supporting his point.

He said, ” Afenifere’ s stance, for now, is not to comment on Tinubu’ s administration as of now because we believe that the elections previously held are not completed yet; it’ s still in progress, that is why we are still in court, so commenting on someone who is there and who we don’ t believe should be there until the final decision of the court will be probative and reprobative. “

” I refuse to comment on somebody that is not existing yet until the final arbiter of the court, our party may be wrong but that is our own stance. I can’ t recognize him in an office that I believe doesn’t exist. “

Adebanjo said he is not talking about Tinubu’s capability and ability, but what matters the most is the process through which he got to the position of the president, which he described as “flawed and uncalled for”.
