Former Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has spoken out about the behavior of Department of State Service officials at a Lagos tribunal.
According to his verified social media profile, Ayodele Fayose voiced displeasure with the DSS’s operations and expressed confidence that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will respond swiftly.
The outgoing governor admitted it was necessary so that the public did not begin to demonize his administration as they had the one before it.
Fayose, who speculated that the president would take action, went on to say that Nigeria’s current leader is a product of the country’s fight for democracy and would not condone lawlessness.
“The actions of the DSS today, is no doubt bringing negative image to the Govt and I’m sure that President Tinubu will act swiftly to curb their excesses so that they don’t give his govt bad name just as they did to the immediate past government,” he said. This is the result of incompetent or egotistical leadership within the DSS. The President must take action at this moment.
Remember when the DSS operatives argued about who would take possession of the suspended Apex governor Emefiele notwithstanding the court judgement allowing him bail?
