Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, spoke to his congregation on “Understanding The Breakthrough Power Of Stewardship” during Canaanland’s Midweek Communion Service.
“As you stay true to God in your commitment, in your dedication, He will surprise you,” he told his congregation about the power of stewardship.
Accept grace to be committed till your enthronement and to remain so after your enthronement. I went out yesterday, and we came back with 265 souls. I’ve been out like that consciously since 1976, based on Matthew 6:33. “I am not exhausted.”
Speaking further, he told them, “So wake up from your slumber. I have more enemies than most of you will ever have till you go to heaven, why do they have no effect on me? God is behind me.
Because I am on His side. In the name of Jesus, the same way God is backing off the faithful across the nations, you will begin to enjoy His backing. Go and exhibit your passion for God by getting across to the loading base in your areas and paying off what you are able to pay off for all our new converts and invitees to be able to come to Church.
Finally, he told them, “Go and demonstrate your love for God. God’s love has proof. We are winning souls all across the city. Be part of that and watch how Jesus will begin to honour you and shower His blessings all across your life.”
