A Nigerian man has accused famed street disc jockey DJ Chicken of deceit after collecting N30,000 from him and a buddy.
According to the disappointed individual, they had transferred the money to the DJ only to find out the next day that he had acquired a Mercedes Benz. The dissatisfied individual presented documentation of the transaction in a video broadcast online to back up his claims.
The controversy erupted after DJ Chicken proudly displayed his new black-colored Benz SUV on his social media page a few days ago.
However, this gesture sparked resentment in the man who had contributed the money, as he felt deceived by the popular entertainer.
The complainant’s anger is compounded by the fact that he and his friend generously gave the DJ a considerable sum, while he continues to face the daily inconvenience of walking.
In his words;
“DJ Chicken Wey me and my Guy dash N30k yesterday done buy Benz today. Only God know the best.”
The video has since gone viral, attracting significant attention from netizens and fans alike.
Interestingly, this is the second car DJ Chicken is buying within a space of four months, as he bought a Toyota earlier this year, leading to speculations about his source of income.
