An African American man serving a prison sentence recently married his girlfriend in a court wedding that sparked outrage online.
He requested that the Correctional authorities allow both of them to have a judicial wedding, which was granted.
In a video that went viral on social media, the inmate was seen exchanging vows with his girlfriend and agreeing to be husband and wife.
It was gathered that they had been dating before he was sent to prison for a felony and he decided to make their union official so that she would stay committed to him till his release.
He was dressed in his prison uniform put in a steel cage which was dragged into the courtroom, so that there would be no physical contact between them.
