Al Nassr striker and Portugal International, Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that the Saudi Pro League is better than the Major League Soccer (MLS).
Ronaldo’s comments come barely days after his eternal rival Lionel Messi signed for Inter Miami.
Messi left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer and snubbed a move to Saudi, where he would have renewed his rivalry with Ronaldo.
However, Ronaldo insists he made the better choice, pointing to players flocking to the Middle East as proof.
“Saudi league is better than MLS.
“I opened the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players are coming here,” Ronaldo said.
