Portugal International and Al Nassr forward, Ronaldo has received heavy criticisms from his neighbors in Portugal over his £28m mansion.
Ronaldo is currently planning for life after his career comes to an end, with the development of his £28million property just outside of Lisbon, Portugal.
The former Manchester United star has commissioned work to be carried out on the property for the last three years, with a further one year deal already in the works as he prepares for retirement with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
Many outlets are anticipating that the majority of his post-playing days will be split between the Lisbon location and spending time in his former stomping ground, Madrid.
Frustrations surrounding Ronaldo’s new mansion plans are now growing, with one disgruntled neighbour outlined their anger at the externalities the construction has caused.
According to the Daily Mail, the initial cost of the project was set to be around £10m but this has since risen to £17m and now £28m.
The reasons behind this dramatic increase stem from a golf clubhouse near to the property having to be relocated, with Ronaldo having attempted to purchase the establishment but failed in doing so.
The property itself will feature a giant swimming pool with an underwater walkway and a master bedroom measuring 1000 square-feet,in the football legends most luxurious location yet.
A neighbor said: “They’ve been building for three years. The house is so big it looks like a hospital.”
While another neighbour added: “My street has been closed for months, my garden is full of dust. All because of Pharaoh Ronaldo’s pyramid!”
