Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has mourned the sad death of popular Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okereke.
Recall that Mrs Okereke died in her sleep last night at the age of 63, twelve months after she was kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Her death was announced by her colleague, Joseph Okechukwu on Wednesday, July 12.
Reacting to the sad incident in a Twitter post on Wednesday, Sani described the death of the thespian as a great loss.
The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), therefore, prayed that her soul rest in peace.
He wrote: “The death of the Nollywood Star Cynthia Okereke is a great loss. May her soul rest in Peace. Ameen.”
