Young Jonn, a popular music producer, thanks Headies after being nominated for a music award, this time as a vocalist rather than a producer.
In 2016, the musician got a Headies Award for Producer of the Year in his position as a producer.
Being more than simply a sound god, he began experimenting in music and has gone on to record several successful songs, including the much-loved “Xtra Cool.”
The singer has now been nominated for the 2023 Headies Award’s Next Rated category as well as Best Street-hop artiste. Typically, the prize is given to the most promising up-and-coming singer. Seyi Vibez, Asake, Victony, and Spyro are also nominees in this category.
Young Jonn said that the feeling of being nominated again hits differently because it’s a special one, even though he had already won his first Headies Award.
He wrote…
“shout out @the_headies for the recognition- won my first headies award 2016 but this particular one feels special 😂❤️”
