D’banj invites viral $1 woman to his crib, gifts her N2 million naira (Video)

Award-winning Nigerian Singer, D’banj, touched the hearts of many on social media with his act of kindness towards the elderly woman whose interview about spending $1 had gone viral.

The woman, in the trending clip, was asked how she would spend $1 if given that amount.

The elderly lady, unaware of the actual value of $1 in naira, confidently expressed her plan to ‘carry’ the dollar to her building site, complete the project, and utilize the remaining amount to care for her children.

After coming across the video on Twitter, D’banj found the lady’s aspirations amusing and expressed his interest in meeting her.

He took to his Twitter account, asking his followers to help locate the elderly woman.

He wrote;

“Help me find this woman, i love how she wants to use her $1 WIN. I go like bless her. I wan to “Gbe’”

Hours later, D’banj took to Twitter to inform his followers that he had found the lady.

Videos circulating on social media captured the heartwarming moment when the elderly woman and her son visited D’banj at his residence.

In the video, the music star expressed how amused he was by the woman’s determination to ‘carry’ a dollar to support her children.
