Amidst the tumultuous waves of reactions cascading in the wake of veteran actor Pete Edochie’s enthralling interview, where he delved into the intricacies of his son Yul Edochie’s marital drama, Judy Austin has taken down her birthday post to her father-in-law.
Judy’s decisive action might have been triggered by the disparaging remark Pete made concerning her romantic involvement with Yul.
In a video, Pete confirmed that he had no prior knowledge of Yul’s decision to marry a second wife. He then proceeded to illustrate this surprise with an intriguing Igbo parable.
“He who goes to the farm and gets ants-infested firewoods (amongst all the good firewoods in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when Lizards start paying him a visit (like lizards disturbing nah)”.
Edochie also went on declare his support and love for Yul’s first wife, May, noting that the success of the marriage hinged on her while calling her a brilliant woman and his favourite.
A recent look on Judy’s page, it showed she has now deleted birthday post she dedicated to Pete Edochie.
In May, Judy Austin, took to her Instagram page to celebrate her father-in-law.
The actress praised the living legend whom she described as the lion of Africa with a heart of gold. She also prayed for him.
One of the photos of the celebrant Judy posted has him carrying her son, Star Dike.
Pete Edochie, in viral interview, revealed that he found out about Yul’s second marriage, like every other person online. He noted that it was the same way he found out he was contesting for the position of governor online.
