Piers Morgan,a popular British TV personality has once again taken shots at Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi.
Morgan, a Cristiano Ronaldo fan, said Messi has given up on football to play ‘soccer’ and labeled his move to Inter Miami as embarrassing.
Taking to Twitter, Morgan tweeted, “Messi’s given up football to play ‘soccer’ – embarrassing.”
Messi had joined Inter Miami last month as a free agent.
The former Barcelona captain joined the MLS club after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
The Argentine captain has so far scored five goals in three games for Inter Miami.
