Popular Nigerian comedian and activist, Mr Macaroni has expressed deep lamentation over what he perceives as a “cursed” political system in Nigeria.
He suggested that a persistent curse might be plaguing the nation’s political system.
He discounted the possibility of entering politics in the future.
The comedian believes the Nigerian political system corrupts even the most conscientious persons once they become a part of it.
“I think in the Nigerian political system or space, at it were, there’s a curse roaming around there because we’ve seen great men, men of valour go into that space and become something we no longer recognise,” he said.
Mr Macaroni explained that his activism began in secondary school when he developed a strong dislike for dishonesty and abuse of others.
He emphasized the significance of treating others with respect, He further stated that anyone who fails to treat others with dignity will surely face his criticism.
“I think it started from secondary school, naturally I don’t like being cheated and I don’t like people around me to be cheated, just treat people with respect. So the moment you do not, then you have a problem with me,” he said.
