PSG have told Kylian Mbappé he won’t play for the club this season if he stays to run out his contract. He’s not allowed to train with the first team. But he’s reportedly told PSG he won’t be leaving under any circumstances this summer.
The France captain is still at odds with the club after failing to negotiate a contract extension with the Ligue 1 champions.
According to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old is expected to be frozen out by PSG, whose leadership is eager to secure a permanent or loan deal for the player in order to recoup their £250 million investment.
New manager Luis Enrique is seemingly making quite the impression in the early days of his tenure, with the likes of Neymar, Hugo Ekitike, Renato Sanches, Gini Wijnaldum and Juan Bernat all told they can depart with no questions asked during the summer window
