Segun Arinze, Victor Osuagwu, other actors grace Late Actor, Saint Obi’s candlelight service (Video)

Late Nollywood actor Saint Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi, has been honoured by his friends and colleagues.

Big names from the Nollywood world took out time to put together a touching candlelight event to remember and give a special nod to the actor who is no longer with us.

The event, a mix of solemnity and heartwarming emotions, took center stage in Lagos State, with a procession that started from Oriental Hotel and ended at Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island.

Images and videos showcasing Nollywood luminaries such as Segun Arinze, Ejike Asiegbu, Emeka Rollas, Victor Osiagwu, and several other notable personalities at the occasion swiftly captured widespread attention.

The funeral service for Saint Obi has been scheduled for August 18th, as the family announced earlier this week.

Saint Obi’s family worked hard to change the narrative surrounding the late actor’s death.

Journalist Zik Zulu Okafor and filmmaker Zeb Ejiro revealed that Obi died a sad, frustrated and lonely man maltreated by his rich wife and her family.

In a statement to a blogger, Saint Obi’s family debunked claims that his friends didn’t show up for his children’s naming ceremony or child dedication.
