Transfer: Ten Hag considering new goalkeeper after 2-0 defeat to Tottenham

Erik ten Hag 'reaches Verbal agreement' to become next Manchester United Manager

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is making efforts to sign a new goalkeeper for his team before the summer transfer window closes in 11 days.

Ten Hag has set his sights on Odysseas Vlachodimos from Benfica.

According to the UK Mirror, Vlachodimos is interested in moving to Old Trafford, but it may cost the Red Devils £51 million.

As Dean Henderson is expected to leave United soon, Ten Hag wants to find a deputy for Andre Onana.

Furthermore, the team’s third-choice goalkeeper, Tom Heaton, is currently injured.

In their most recent league game against Tottenham Hotspur, Onana conceded two goals as United suffered a 2-0 defeat.
