Nigerian singer turned politician, Banky W, is filled with renewed hope as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) plans to hold a supplementary election for the Eti-Osa house of representatives seat in Lagos.
Initially, Banky W campaigned passionately for the seat under the banner of the PDP but lost to the Labour Party Candidate, Thaddeus Attah.
However, a tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, nullified the election, ruling that a rerun should take place within 90 days in the 32 polling units of Eti-Osa.
Upon hearing this news, Banky W took to his micro blogging platform to express his excitement, stating, “It is possible. Still.”
