After carefully reviewing their actions in the Big Brother Naija All Stars house, Pere, Doyin, Adekunle, and Venita were all issued a strike each by Big Brother for various transgressions.
Big Brother does not take lightly to violence and property damage in the house.
Following the drama that ensued on Thursday evening after the parrot revealed some conversations, Doyin and Pere got into a heated argument on Friday which led to Pere punching a hole in the Big Brother Naija house.
Pere was found guilty of infringing the house rule on violence and damaging Big Brother’s property, resulting in the issuance of a strike.
Recall that Pere is fresh out of onesie jail, a punishment he shared with Neoenergy earlier in the week for whispering.
Doyin was found guilty of infringing the house rule on violence through her goading behaviour. Big Brother insisted that Doyin’s words and actions escalated the situation between her and Pere, which led to Pere punching the wall.
This strike against Doyin serves as a reminder that flaming the fans of an already volatile situation within the house will not go unnoticed or unpunished.
Adekunle and Venita received strikes for their actions related to Big Brother’s technical recording equipment.
Both housemates obstructed camera and microphone recording, leading to their respective strikes. This emphasizes the importance of respecting the house’s technical aspects and not interfering with the microphones and transmitters.
So far, Adekunle, Doyin, Pere and Venita have joined the list of other housemates who have been issued strikes for various reasons: Adekunle (one strike), Doyin (one strike), Ilebaye (two strikes), Evictee Ike (one strike), Mercy (one strike), Pere (one strike), Soma (one strike) and Venita (one strike).
Doyin and Pere’s strikes serve as a stern warning to all housemates about the consequences of physical altercations within the Big Brother Naija house. In light of all that has happened, these strikes send a clear message to all housemates that Big Brother will enforce the rules and maintain a safe and orderly environment in the house. As the competition heats up, other housemates must tread carefully to avoid further violation of the house rules and potential disqualification.
