Nigerian music sensation, Davido, has declared Cristiano Ronaldo as the ultimate football legend, surpassing Lionel Messi.
Davido recently mesmerized the audience at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards, a notable event following his earlier performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.
In the midst of the attention he received, Davido expressed his admiration for both players but admitted that he personally favors Ronaldo.
He said, “Cristiano for me, you know, what outcomes, very, very disciplined,
“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him.
“I like both of them. But, I personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”
Messi is favourite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or award for a record-extending eighth time, while Ronaldo has won it seven times and didn’t make the 30-man shortlist this time around.
