Recall that the two filmmakers got tongues wagging when they silently competed with each other during the premiere of their movies ‘Ghost and the Tout Too’ in the cinemas and ‘Omo Ghetto the Saga’ on Netflix.
In a sudden turn of events, the duo were captured in an affectionate embrace, radiating smiles as they posed alongside Broda Shaggi for a camera shot in new clip.
This video was shared by the Skitmaker during Filmmaker Mo Abudu’s directorial debut event for two short films, “Her Perfect Life” and “Iyawo Mi,” held in Lagos.
Die-hard fans of these blockbuster movie titans inundated Broda Shaggi’s comment section with exhilaration, thrilled to see their cherished favorites in a shared space, dispelling the whispers of a rumored feud.
The feud between Akindele and Abraham became apparent a few years ago when observers noted that Akindele consistently avoided Abraham during their birthday celebrations and showed reluctance in associating with her. Abraham reciprocated this behavior during Akindele’s birthday.
It’s worth recalling that Akindele stirred controversy two years ago when she chose to premiere her movie, “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” on the same day that Abraham’s “Ghost and the Tout” hit the cinemas.
This clash left many fans of both actresses torn between heading to the cinema to watch “The Ghost and The Tout” or staying home to stream “Omo Ghetto: The Saga” on Netflix.
