As Nollywood actor Jim Iyke celebrates his birthday today, his age has created quite a stir on social media.
Jim, a veteran performer in the entertainment industry, turned 47 today, September 25th, 2023.
The actor has left a lasting impression on the entertainment business. With a philosophy degree from the University of Jos, he had a successful career that highlighted his brilliance and versatility.
His contributions to the industry have cemented his place as one of its bright lights.
Throughout his successful career, Jim Iyke has also faced his fair share of controversies. In 2011, a highly publicized altercation with fellow actor Emma Emordi on a movie set drew widespread attention and criticism.
This incident, captured on video, sparked intense discussions about Jim Iyke’s behaviour. In addition to the altercations, the actor, now in his late 40s, has also dealt with accusations of fraud.
In 2013, he was charged with defrauding a businesswoman of over N15 million, which led to his temporary detention.
However, Jim Iyke took responsibility for his actions and ultimately settled outside of court.
