“His daughter is Naira Marley’s lawyer” – Kwam1 dragged over tribute to Late Mohbad at his coronation ceremony (Video)

Mixed reactions have followed Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde, also known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate, as he paid tribute to the late singer Mohbad during his concert.

Despite the passing of Mohbad occurring over three weeks ago, many celebrities and public figures continue to honor him at their own events.

During his ongoing Coronation ceremony in Ijebu, Kwam1 took a moment to remember the young artist. He expressed how Nigeria is blessed with a multitude of talented artists, but unfortunately, we lost one this month, referring to Mohbad.

Kwam1 acknowledged that Mohbad’s sudden death caught everyone off guard and left a profound sadness within ourselves and our community. Concluding his tribute, he offered prayers for Mohbad to rest in peace.

“We have a whole lot of artists that can keep the country together, we have Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Sãvage. Unfortunately, something happened to us a while ago, it caught us unaware and it set us back, and made us feel bad about ourselves and our attitudes. Mohbad rest in peace.

Mohbad we pray to God Almighty, may your soul rest in peace”.

However, some netizens criticized Kwam1’s tribute, pointing out that his daughter is reportedly the lawyer for Naira Marley, who allegedly subjected Mohbad to bullying before his death.
