Yomi Fabiyi Defies Court Order Restricting Him From Mentioning Mohbad’s Widow, Wunmi

“Please let stop using a child as househelp, it is evil learn to be human”- Yomi Fabiyi drag Celebrities

Former Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has openly defied a court order that bars him and four others from publicly discussing Omowunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, and their son, Liam.

The restraining order, issued by an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, prohibits the named individuals from making public statements or inciting actions against Wunmi and her child for one year.

However, in a TikTok video shared on Friday, Yomi Fabiyi declared he would not comply with the directive.

“I have never committed a crime by mentioning your name, Wunmi. I will tell the judge that I will continue to mention your name, and I will give my reasons. The way I have been mentioning your name is legitimate and lawful. This is a public matter of great importance, and I will not stop,” he said.

Yomi accused Wunmi of attempting to silence him, claiming that she had previously spoken publicly about him in the media. He further alleged that the widow was using legal measures to avoid police investigations, which he described as an abuse of power.

The actor questioned Wunmi’s role in Mohbad’s death, asking why she was at the center of ongoing controversies.

“Wunmi, you went to get a court order that I and some others should not mention your name again, but I will continue to do so. Were you not in the house when Mohbad died? Have you forgotten that you also went to media houses and mentioned my name? Let us meet in court,” he added.

The court’s restraining order was granted to protect Wunmi and her son from possible bullying, harassment, and incitement, following months of heated public debates about Mohbad’s death and Liam’s paternity.
