Amid the unrelenting pursuit of justice by Nigerians for the late singer Mohbad, his management has taken steps to honor his memory.
An announcement on the singer’s official page revealed plans for a poignant candlelight procession and a tribute concert to pay their final respects. These solemn events are scheduled to take place in Lekki, Lagos, on Thursday, September 21.
The post reads;
“We appreciate the outpouring of love from fans across the world, to the ones who’ve organized events in their communities as a way to honor and pay respect to our shining light we say thank you. Join us for Mohbad’s Candlelight Procession and Tribute Concert.”
In response to the post, Davido swiftly shared it on his Instagram story. The ‘Timeless’ maestro, currently on a tour in the United Kingdom, used an airplane emoji and the Nigerian flag to signify his intent to return to the country specifically for the event.
In another post, the Unavailable crooner revealed the late Mohbad’s spirit is so strong that sleep eluded him.
