Mohbad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba, has once again come to the defense of Naira Marley, his late son’s former boss, amidst allegations of the singer’s involvement in Mohbad’s demise.
In a leaked audio conversation, Mr Joseph explains why he believes Naira Marley should not be considered a suspect.
Despite the conflicts between Mohbad and Naira Marley, Mr Joseph argues that there is no motive for Naira Marley to harm his son.
He suggests that any previous attacks on Mohbad by the Marlian group were merely attempts to assert their seniority and get his attention due to the communication barriers between them.
“Naira only showed his seniority. His ears were blocked and didn’t listen. Naira gave me his number about a year ago but I have not being able to reach him. Naira is not a bad person or the type that’d kill him, he only showed his who’s the boss,” he started.
