“Evidence plenty” Netizens react to resurfaced video of Naira Marley greeting his friends in an unusual way, after denying being a cultist

Netizens have discovered an old video of Naira Marley greeting his pals in a unique manner.

Creebhills reported late Tuesday that the singer had broken his silence on assault claims leveled against his former signee, Mohbad, which he denied.

He added that accusations about the label being a drug cartel are false because he is not a drug lord or a member of any cult or fraternity.

Naira Marley says that he is committed to proving his innocence and working with authorities to clear my name with enough evidence. You may read his statement here.

Nigerians found a video of him welcoming his buddies with a “special handshake” after hearing his statement.

The video has subsequently sparked debate online, with some claiming that a cultist would never publicly profess to be one and others claiming that it could be a gang greeting.

‘Lol that’s not a cult handshake,’ wrote one Official Cravy. My Lagosian acquaintance shakes that way; he calls it a gangster handshake. Naira Marley may not be a member of any cult, but Sam Larry na eiye that one face show.
