Dotun, a popular radio presenter, has provided his perspective on the recent teargas shooting at the Lekki toll gate.
It was reported that the police dispersed a large crowd attending Mohbad‘s candlelight vigil using teargas.
Victims were reportedly caught off guard at the toll gate when the police unleashed teargas on them without any provocation.
However, Dotun has given a different account of the incident on his Twitter page.
He explained that the candlelight procession concluded at Muri Okunola Park and attendees were dispersed around 8pm.
However, some members of the crowd decided to move to the Lekki toll gate with the intention of causing trouble.
