Several Nigerian celebrities have begun unfollowing Naira Marley on Instagram following allegations of his involvement in the death of his late signee, Mohbad.
Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 on September 12th, 2023, and was laid to rest on September 13th, 2023.
Disturbing videos have surfaced showing Naira Marley’s best friend, Sam Larry, assaulting Mohbad during a music video shoot with Zlatan Ibile and even chasing him away.
The aftermath of Mohbad’s tragic death has been chaotic, and the repercussions are now being felt on an international level.
Consequently, some celebrities who have previously followed Naira Marley on Instagram have decided to unfollow him.
Notable figures such as Funke Akindele, Don Jazzy, Young John, Fireboy, BNXN, Tunde Ednut, Taooma, Toke Makinwa, and DJ Dorcas Shola Fapson (DSF) are among those who have unfollowed Naira Marley, although he still follows them.
