Confusion erupted this morning at Murtala Muhammed Airport’s international wing after a fire broke out in a portion of the principal gateway airport.
According to a story from the Nigerian Tribune, the inferno was caused by a malfunctioning wire on the Tarmac.
The fire allegedly damaged a piece of the FAAN administrative office the night before.
“All passengers and staff were instructed to evacuate the building, while the Lagos State Fire Service assisted the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).”
