Martins Vincent Otse, a well-known TikToker also known as Very Dark Man, has a strong message for his critics after receiving a follow from popular singer Davido on Instagram.
In a post on his social media page, Very Dark Man made it clear that he no longer cares about the opinions of his haters as long as he is recognized by Davido, whom he considers the number one Afrobeat artist in the world.
He mentioned that many people enter his DMs to harass and insult him, labeling him as unclean and financially struggling. Some even go to the extent of attacking his family, forgetting that he is a human being with emotions.
Nevertheless, despite the hurtful comments he receives, Very Dark Man is unfazed now that he has found solace and support in his newfound friendship with Davido.
He shared a screenshot of the DM Davido sent to him, expressing his genuine enjoyment of Very Dark Man’s skits and content.
“In as much as I come out as someone who is emotionally strong, you should also consider that I am Human. I can never understand why I get insulted and bullied, because of my opinion. Some people go as far as coming into my DMs to insult me and my family uncalled for because of my opinion. They broke shame me, calling me dirty, but it’s fine.
Anytime I want to think about that, I check my DMs and I see a message from Davido, he said he gbadun me and he follows me. That means if I am sad, he is now my guy, I will text him and he will console me.
If the number one Afrobeat artiste in the world is following me, then who told you that your opinion matters, all you have to do is insult me”.
Davido just followed VeryDarkMan on Instagram and said him Dey gbadun the boy.
