Mr. Joseph Ayoba, father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has opened up about a disturbing dream he had just 2 days before his son’s untimely demise on Tuesday, September 12th.

Mohbad tragically passed away at the tender age of 27 and was laid to rest on Wednesday, September 13th.

During an emotional interview with popular content creator @og_baba1, Mr. Ayoba shed light on his relationship with his son, describing it as more of a friendship than a traditional father-son dynamic.

Mr. Ayoba recounted the final moments he spent with Mohbad, revealing that he had visited his son at his home shortly before the tragedy unfolded.

Their last meeting was marked by a shared meal and a familiar gesture of generosity from Mohbad.

Mohbad is my friend. I called him Oladimeji (meaning my second) because I’m the only son of my parents. We were close.

“The last day we met which was last Saturday, I went there (Mohbad’s house) and we dined together. When I was leaving he also gave me some money like he always did,” his father said.

However, the interview took a chilling turn when Mr. Ayoba disclosed a disturbing premonition he had just two days before Mohbad’s death.

In this haunting dream, he saw someone attempting to shoot him, leaving him with an overwhelming sense of dread.

Little did he know that this unsettling dream would soon be followed by the tragic loss of his beloved son.

“I had a dream about him, two days before the incident. In the dream, I saw someone trying to shoot me. I thought I escaped the bullet not knowing something like this would happen to me.”

Addressing what had caused his death and what he suspects, he said …

“According to what I heard from people, though I don’t believe was that an auxiliary nurse administered him an injection, and that could have led to anything,” his father added.
