You must have a pity story if you want to win BBNaija All Stars – Tolanibaj

Tolanibaj, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija, has sparked controversy by sharing her views on the ‘BBNaija All-Stars’ edition.

She believes that contestants with pity stories have an advantage in winning the show, while those without such narratives may struggle to connect with the audience.

Tolanibaj further expressed her disinterest in employing this pity strategy.

“If you want to win the show you need to have a pity story… but that’s not my character to want people to pity me”she stated .

Additionally, she mentioned her decision to forgo the usual media tour after being evicted as the fourth BBNaija All Stars housemate on August 26, 2023.

“I wanted to be selfish with my time, I did not want to wake up early for anybody, I did not want to do make-up for one week straight” she said

She also talked about the argument she had with Cee-C and Ilebaye and her regrets about how she handled the situation, She revealed:

“How I handled it at the time made a lot of sense to me, if I could do things differently rather than exploding, I would have a conversation with them” she said.

Tolanibaj revealed that her main objective in participating in BBNaija All Stars was to have a good time rather than compete for the grand prize of 120 million Naira.

“The game that I played even backfired. I did not go there to win the money if you remember on day one when they asked I said no pressure I’m just here”, she stated.
