A video of Yoruba Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola talking about her frequently violent on-screen persona has circulated, drawing the attention of online users.
Wumi Toriola cited during the live video session, that her on-screen toxicity is different from who her character is in reality.
The actress, who possibly may be challenged by someone, claimed that although she frequently landed love roles in films and excelled in them, many people mistake her real personality for what they saw on screen.

Netizens, however, have rejected her clarification.
One lawyer, Barrister Dolapo, took it upon herself to accuse the actress of being toxic, stating that she enjoys posting live Instagram videos whenever she has a problem with someone.
“You are a bitter soul… the fact that you always come on live video anytime you have issues with someone shows you are too toxic… you did it to shai and Toyin. Any wise person in your industry won’t move close to you again” the barrister wrote.
