Daniel Regha, known for his uncensored and often controversial comments, has once again targeted the music industry, this time concentrating on singer Blaqbonez’s latest album, “Emeka Must Shine.” Despite the album generating waves and ascending the charts, Regha didn’t hold back in giving it a severe rating of 3.5 out of 10.
Regha noted that Blaqbonez had dabbled in sound experimentation, which he thought was admirable.
His sharpest critique, however, was directed at the lyrical material, which he felt lacked depth. He was disappointed with the album, saying it didn’t bring anything new and instead felt like a rehash of Blaqbonez’s past projects.
Furthermore, Regha mentioned what he viewed as a problem with similarities in the beats, implying that Blaqbonez had sampled tracks from popular singers, resulting in a sense of déjà vu throughout the album. He also pointed out repeated choruses in some of the songs as an area where the album fell short.
In an attempt to soften the blow of his critique, Daniel Regha concluded his message with a “no offense”.
