Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq will replace Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina ahead of Nigeria’s international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Due to injuries, Awoniyi and Aina, who both play for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, will miss the friendly matches.
Both players were absent from Forest’s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Awoniyi will be sidelined for up to a month with a groin injury, according to their manager Steve Cooper, before of the clash at Selhurst Park.
Awoniyi has scored three goals in seven league appearances while Aina has made five outings in the English topflight.
The Super Eagles will first take on Saudi Arabia on 13 October before facing Mozambique on October 16, with both games held in Portugal.
